The total area of the property is 190 ha: 40 ha of vines, 10 ha of olives, 7 ha of cherries, 4 ha of chestnuts, 1.5 ha of walnuts, 60 ha of tended forest and the rest is covered with native species woodland, especially cork oak and holm oak.
Olive groves have been linked to the Brites Aguiar family for over a hundred years, and they therefore deserve a special mention here. The oldest trees are on the highest ground, alongside the vines. Cultivation is non-irrigated, on steep slopes at an average altitude of 450 m. The types of olive cultivated are: Madural, Cobrançosa, Galega, Verdeal and Negrinha de Freixo.
